The Invisalign Process
Dr. Santos begins the Invisalign process with a consultation. A 3D digital model of your smile is then created to show how your smile will look after treatment. This model is also used when designing your custom Invisalign trays.
Our office sends your model to the lab, which crafts a series of clear trays. Each tray is designed to fit to your teeth while lightly applying pressure to targeted areas, gently guiding the teeth into a new position. Each set is worn for about two weeks before progressing to the next set.
Depending on the correction needed, the process may last between 6 to 18 months. During this time, you will be able to speak, eat and brush normally, and your braces will be virtually undetectable to others.
